Beach Recharge Felixstowe Return Of  The Mummy

Beach recharge and the return of the Mummy

Thoughts of the stunning visual effects of the sand storm scene in the “return of the mummy” film come to mind  when approaching Felixstowe South Seafront Beach.

The scale of the operation can be seen from the picture on the left with the height of the sand behind the shelter which with the sunshine reflection appears to be rising up to engulf the area just as in the film.

The necessarily fenced off South Seafront beach can be seen with watchers getting a view of the operation and the one car parked on Sea Road Car Park in the middle of August tells  its own story much to the dismay of local traders.

The new green Groyne  markers warning of the rocks can be seen below.
