Beach Levels Felixstowe February 2009

North Easterly Winds Brought a little snow to the Suntrap  2nd February but nowhere near to amounts  in other parts of Suffolk

The white seahorse waves however had a considerable effect on the  beach at Manor End seen from these photographs.

The Rocks placed by the promenade have been uncovered

towards the promenade.

Walkers stepping off the prom onto the beach need to take care as the remaining sand looks rather precarious and could give  way.

The council plans for the Martello Park building continue with the demolishment of what appeared to be a perfectly good house in Tacon Road, seen in the photographs on this page.

In biting wind  Litter Picker extraordinaire Tony Bleek  keeps the area immaculate

The escarpment nearly washed away to the Prom Manor End

The applied chewing gum not so effective see hole in wall
