The Annual Ipswich to Felixstowe Historic Vehicle run took place 7 May 2006 and the vehicles stretched from one end of Felixstowe promenade to the other. Felixstowe is of course the sun trap of the East Coast where it only rains when it is wet but some of the vehicles brought a little drizzle from Ipswich. This did not hinder the enjoyment of the crowds and awnings and picnics were soon put up and picnic lunches were soon being enjoyed amongst the vehicles.
The question is will there be a run next year? This will depend one whether Felixstowe still has a promenade if it survives another unprotected winter.
