Barbara Boast Receives Women’s Land Army Medal

Barbara Boast a resident of Mill Lane Nursing Home in Felixstowe has received a Women’s Land Army Medal. This is for war time service and is Signed by Gordon Brown Prime Minister.

The picture left shows Ark Boast Barbara’s husband giving her the medal and reading her the citation.

Several of Barbara’s family were present including, Marion, Tony, Eileen and Rod.
