Osprey at Needham Lake

Much excitement has been caused for bird watchers at a local beauty spot at Needham Lake in  Suffolk.

The Osprey a bird of prey which has a six foot wing span has been seen catching fish in the lake  and is believed to be in transit  to West Africa  for normal migration.

Sunday afternoon saw it again hovering overhead to the delight of many local twitchers before heading towards Baylham Pits  near the area.
