Reefs made 10 years ago to protect the area have not been entirely successful  as can be seen from these photographs. Campaigners have called the area a missing link  in the seafront walk along Felixstowe’s promenade.

It is difficult now to get past the Point even at low tide   without getting wet, and  for wheel chair  users and  the disabled it is a no go area.

These pictures illustrate how ridiculous it is for the council to build on the south seafront floodplain which will obviously put property and lives at risk.
