- The lack of beds was what we warned the Suffolk PCT would happen with the closure
of the Bartlet.

- Is the area hospital system facing melt down with constant press reports featuring
yet another failure of the PCT
- An apology was made to patients left waiting for more than six months for treatment
by the chief executive
- Is the memory span of an average fish quote below really true?
- Are delays in getting an appointment typical if hospital treatment is needed ?
- Is when eventually getting into hospital a most dangerous life threatening experience

Appointment Delays ... A typical experience
- Three weeks before a 6 month appointment is due a change of appointment letter will
be received saying that due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to cancel your
appointment from November to March... Then when March arrives from March to August..................
Is it a question of sometime now or never
- A July tooth ache and your your dentist informs you that oral surgery is needed
you may receive an appointment by November for an assessment and treatment promised
after Christmas but you will probably be waiting still in March.
- Suspected possible cancer bump you can choose and book! You will know within 5 days
but then the referral management centre will tell you that there are no available
bookings ..... Is it all a sick joke?
