How true the quotation from Sir Walter Scott as the headlines in the local paper show the extent of the flood risk at Felixstowe. Resident's believe that SCDC has ignored the fears of flooding in order to give building permission on the South Seafront Flood Plain

Now the real truth is out, the question is will the situation survive another year of high tides and winds.

Government funding has at least been applied for but will anything be left to build on in 2007/8
